It’s important to celebrate the past. But it’s essential to be building for our futures.

Norman Piette celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. In July 1973 the Norman side of the business joined with The Piette Sawmills to create the company we know today at Bulwer Avenue. During this time, we have become one of the component parts of the society of Guernsey. As Chief Executive I am immensely proud to head up such a great family-owned company that serves the local market in which it resides. We have been helping to build a better Guernsey for over 5 decades and many of you have been with us every step of the way. Our business has grown alongside yours, day by day, through the good times and those that have been more challenging, which is due to the strong relationships we have built over all these years.

Our promise to you, our customers

Although we are a long-standing and well-established business, I along with my team promise to all our customers that we will never take your custom for granted. We will work hard to listen, understand, and provide your needs with the top-quality brands and best advice in the industry. We will increase our customer service training and our product knowledge, we will hold more customer surveys to glean from you what really matters, and we will continue to invest heavily in our storage and logistics facilities to provide you with stock on the ground, on island, for when you need it.

Help us help you

Our aim is to become the favourite business partner for anybody who needs building materials and advice. We also aim to positively contribute to the infrastructure and environment by leading the way in sustainable materials and solutions and helping as many good causes on the island as possible, with both material and expertise assistance. With your feedback, help and support we can continue to serve Guernsey even better for the next 50 years and beyond.
