CIOB Visit to Guernsey – Supporting the Future of Construction

The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) will be visiting Guernsey on Thursday 30 April, bringing a valuable opportunity for local construction professionals, businesses, and students to engage with one of the industry’s leading professional bodies.
CIOB will be welcoming Julie Putman, a senior representative, whose visit is focused on supporting the development of the local construction industry. The day will highlight career pathways, professional development, and routes to achieving chartered status.
What’s happening on the day?
The visit will include a range of activities designed to engage both emerging talent and established professionals:
- Morning Visit – Les Ozouets Campus (09:00–10:30)
Engagement with students and staff, promoting careers in construction and skills development within the industry. - Industry Lunch & Networking Session
A presentation and opportunity for local professionals and businesses to connect, share insights, and learn more about CIOB initiatives. -
One-to-One Meetings
Individual sessions will be available throughout the day for those interested in:- CIOB membership
